As an Intern in Event Management, you will assist the Event Management team in planning, organizing, and executing various events. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the event planning industry. You will work closely with a dynamic team to support all aspects of event logistics, from pre-event planning to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up. This internship is ideal for a creative and detail- oriented individual with a passion for event management.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning Support: Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences, weddings, corporate events, and special functions.
- Logistics Coordination: Help manage event logistics such as venue selection, vendor coordination, equipment rental, transportation, and accommodations.
- Vendor Communication: Assist in communicating with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services.
- On-Site Event Support: Participate in on-site event setup, coordination, and breakdown, ensuring smooth event execution.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining event calendars, updating databases, preparing event materials, and managing invitations and RSVPs.
- Marketing & Promotion: Support the promotion of events through social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
- Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking event budgets, processing invoices, and ensuring cost-effective event management.
- Client Interaction: Assist in communicating with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, ensuring their vision is met.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Help in gathering feedback from attendees, preparing event reports, and suggesting improvements for future events.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software/tools.
- Creativity: Ability to bring creative ideas and solutions to event planning challenges.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Experience: Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service is a plus but not required.

Compensation:
The internship has a compensation of €500,- per month + travel costs. All lunch, sport activities and social events are inclusive with your internship.
