Als Medior Technisch Interieurtekenaar bij D/DOCK werk je in multidisciplinaire ontwerpteams aan interieurprojecten van schets tot uitvoering. Jij vormt de brug tussen ontwerp en realisatie en weet hoe je ideeën omzet in technische tekeningen en maatwerkoplossingen.

Je bent technisch onderlegd en voelt je comfortabel in het maken van werktekeningen én maatwerkmeubilair (tenderpakketten). Je begrijpt hoe interieurelementen technisch werken, van materialisatie tot detaillering, en denkt actief mee over maakbaarheid, afwerking, duurzame  en kostenefficiënte oplossingen.

Job Description

As a Medior Technical Interior Draftsperson at D/DOCK, you’ll work in multidisciplinary design teams on interior projects from concept to execution. You are the vital link between design and realization, and you know how to translate ideas into technical drawings and bespoke interior solutions.

You’re technically skilled and confident in creating detailed working drawings and tender packages for custom-made furniture. You understand how interior elements work from a technical perspective, from materialization to detailing, and you proactively contribute ideas about feasibility, finishes, sustainability, and cost-effective solutions.

Kernverantwoordelijkheden:

• Het technisch uitwerken van interieurontwerpen en maatwerk meubiliar werktekeningen, details en maatwerkpakketten

• Vertalen van conceptuele ideeën naar realiseerbare oplossingen

• Coördinatie van tekenwerk en afstemming met ontwerpers en externe partijen

• Adviseren over technische haalbaarheid en materiaalkeuzes

• Bijdragen aan het bewaken van kwaliteit, bouwregelgeving en planning

• Meedenken over duurzame en circulaire materialisatie, losmaakbaarheid en kostenefficiënte oplossingen

Vereiste ervaring en vaardigheden:

• Afgeronde studie met een technische specialisatie op interieur gebied (MBO/HBO)

• 3–6 jaar relevante werkervaring als technisch interieur tekenaar of technisch ontwerper

• Ervaring met maatwerkmeubilair en interieurbouw

• Sterke kennis van interieurdetaillering, materiaaltoepassing en productietechnieken

• Ervaring met Vectorworks 2D en 3D (vereist)

• Oog voor duurzaamheid, circulariteit en innovatieve (biobased) materiaaltoepassingen

• Zelfstandig kunnen opstellen van volledige tekenpakketten

• Goede beheersing van Nederlands én Engels

• Teamspeler met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden

Pré (geen harde vereisten):

• Ervaring met modelleren op LOD-niveau (bijv. LOD 300–400)

• Bekendheid met IFC-classificaties en Nederlandse BIM-standaarden

• Ervaring met project sharing via Autodesk BIM 360

• Ervaring met werken vanuit een 3D-volume richting 2D werktekeningen óf volledige 3D-uitwerkingen

• Pré: ervaring met Revit of werken in BIM

• Bouwkundige achtergrond en kennis van bouwregelgeving

Key Responsibilities

• Technically develop interior designs and custom furniture into working drawings, details, and tender packages

• Translate conceptual ideas into feasible interior solutions

• Coordinate drawing work and align with designers and external partners

• Advise on technical feasibility and material choices

• Contribute to maintaining quality, regulations, and project timelines

• Actively think along on sustainable and circular materialization, disassembly, and cost-efficient solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Completed education with a technical specialization in interiors (MBO/HBO level)

• 3–6 years of relevant experience as a technical interior draftsperson or technical designer

• Experience in custom furniture and interior construction

• Strong knowledge of interior detailing, material application, and production techniques

• Proficient in Vectorworks 2D and 3D (required)

• Strong awareness of sustainability, circularity, and innovative (biobased) materials

• Ability to independently create complete drawing packages

• Team player with strong communication skills

• Fluent in both Dutch and English, Dutch proficiency is a must

   

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience modelling at LOD levels (e.g. LOD 300–400)

• Familiarity with IFC classifications and Dutch BIM standards

• Experience with project sharing via Autodesk BIM 360

• Experience working from 3D volumes toward 2D working drawings or fully in 3D

• Experience with Revit or working in a BIM environment

• A background in construction and knowledge of building regulations
